Summary
ShellDesk is designed around local files and local execution. The app does not require an account, synchronize application data to a cloud service, or include analytics and tracking.
Data stored by the app
ShellDesk stores settings, favorite folders and scripts, per-script run configurations, source snapshots, terminal output, run status, timing, commands, and exit codes locally on your Mac. This information is used to provide the workspace and run-history features.
Script execution
Scripts run on your Mac with your local user permissions and configured shell environment. A script may access the same files, commands, network resources, and credentials it could access when launched from Terminal. Review scripts before running them.
Cloud services and telemetry
ShellDesk does not use CloudKit synchronization and does not contain application analytics, telemetry, or tracking code. The current app does not transmit its stored run data to shelldesk.dev.
This website
This static website does not require an account and does not set application analytics or advertising cookies. Like other websites, its hosting infrastructure may process standard request information needed to deliver and protect the site.
